Warning Description: Wind Advisory

Warning Date: 3:22 am PST on February 22, 2012

WarningSum:...Wind Advisory In Effect From 4 Am To 6 Pm Pst Thursday...

Warning Message:The National Weather Service in Sacramento has issued a Wind
Advisory for the northern interior coastal range...Sacramento
Valley and Delta and the northern San Joaquin Valley...which is in
effect from 4 am to 6 PM PST Thursday.
* Winds: northerly winds with speeds of 20 to 30 mph and gusts to
  40 mph are forecast for much of the day Thursday with gusts up
  to 45 mph possible over Lake County. 
* Timing: the strongest winds are expected to occur between 4 am
  and 6 PM Thursday. 
* Locations include: Stockton...Modesto...Chico...Redding... 
  Lakeport...Alder Springs 
* impacts: difficulty driving. Loose debris blow away or into
  roadways. 
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 25 mph or higher
with gusts to 40 mph or higher are expected. Winds this strong
can make driving difficult...especially for high profile vehicles.
Loose debris can also be blown into roadways. Use extra caution.
